ITFP-GH International Conference 2025
Welcome to the official website of the ITFP-GH IC 2025, of the Institute of Textiles and Fashion Professionals - Ghana (ITFP-GH).
ITFP-GH is excited to announce a call for abstracts and full manuscripts for our 2nd ITFP-GH International Conference 2025, which seeks to bring together academics, researchers, practitioners and industry partners to explore the intersection of global trends, local impacts and amazing areas within fashion and textiles.
The conference serves as a platform for exchanging ideas, presenting the latest developments and trends, proposing new solutions, promoting international collaborations, and networking. The last ITFP-GH IC 2024 was hosted by KNUST, Kumasi, Ghana.
This year’s event, Takoradi Technical University (TTU) will host the ITFP-GH International Conference 2025, from September 3-5, 2025.

AUTHOR GUIDELINES
All selected full papers will be published in a special issue by Fashion and Textiles Review (FTR). Follow the author guidelines in preparing and submitting abstracts and full papers for ITFP-GH IC 2025.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Abstracts should be no more than 300 words and must include the title of the presentation, without author(s) names, affiliations, and contact details. Please use the template to prepare your submission. Alternatively, full papers (above 6000 words) should be prepared using the template herein.

All abstracts and full papers will be subjected to a double-blind peer review process. This will be guided by the peer review procedure stipulated by the Fashion and Textiles Review (FTR). The conference accepts only original and unpublished work. Any abstract identical or substantially similar work already published or under review for another conference or publication will not be considered.
If your abstract is accepted, at least one of the authors should be registered for the conference as the presenting author to deliver the abstract orally.
WHERE TO SUBMIT
Once you have your abstract and full paper ready, as prepared according to the guidelines and template, submit the files through the Microsoft Conference Management System (CMT).

PUBLISHING OPPORTUNITY
Conference proceedings (Book of Abstracts) will be published on the ITFP-GH website. Accepted full-text manuscripts from the conference will be published as a special issue by Fashion and Textiles Review (FTR) (indexed by AJOL), a journal operated by the Institute of Textiles and Fashion Professionals – Ghana (ITFP-GH).
All accepted presenters (poster and oral) are thus strongly encouraged to submit a full paper for the Special Issue.
CONFERENCE VENUE
The 2nd ITFP-GH International Conference will take place at Takoradi Technical University (TTU), Takoradi, Ghana.
Our main campus is located in Effia Kuma New site along the RS Blay Link in the city of Takoradi.
